I AGREE TO UPHOLD THE BYLAWS AND RULES OF THE CONNECTICUT ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN POLICE
Student Member:
Applicant must be a student at a Connecticut college or university and currently enrolled in a degree program that is law enforcement related. No Annual dues.
Active Member:
Applicant must be a full time, sworn female officer of any department or agency within the State of Connecticut, and have the power of arrest. Annual dues:$30.00, $31.50 if you pay via PayPal.
Associate Member:
Resigned police officer, supernumerary officer, auxiliary officer, male police officer, and members of law enforcement agencies who are interested in and committed to fulfilling the goals of this Association. Annual Dues $15.00, $16.00 if you pay via PayPal.
Membership Benefits:
Our Association meets regularly throughout the year. Attending active members may receive POST training credits. Activities have included training, social events newsletters. We are currently planning additional expanded training programs and social events!
The Connecticut Association of Women Police is Affiliate Member of the International Association of Women Police. The association was established in 1958 to promote the role of women in law enforcement. Our goals include fostering public recognition and understanding of the special place of women in law enforcement, encouraging woman to enter, and remain in, law enforcement, developing professional and personal relationships facilitating the exchange of information, providing training and information to women police officers, contributing to the growth of the agencies represented and the communities served and achieving compliance with strict ethical standards and professionalism
