Executive Board & Committees

President Judy EidePresident, Judy Eide, Agent

Federal Bureau of Investigation, New Haven Office

Currently 21 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, New Haven office, and has been a member of the CAWP for over 18 years..My hope is that while I am President, you will find the support, encouragement, balance, and friendship through this organization like never before. Without your knowledge, your passion, your commitment, we cannot grow as an organization, and we will be looked as “ordinary” instead of EXTRAORDINARY. I hope to re-build your loyalty and trust in this organization, one which is incredibly important. One, which together, we will share ideas on leadership, training, mission-focused initiatives, and improving women in policing, not only in Connecticut, but throughout New England. This can only be done with your help. We need to bring back former members, retirees, as well as encourage newly appointed officers to join and help us tap into new ideas and energy. You have the power to change and improve your community, your department, and the world beyond. I can’t wait to see where YOU will take US!

"The pages of your career belong to you. Write a story that makes you happy, and proud. Maybe someday, there will be a little girl that reads it and says, "I want to be just like her." (anon)

vice President Pamela GustovichVice-President, Pamela Gustovich (Lieutenant)

Greenwich Police Department

I have been with the Greenwich PD for 24 years and currently I hold the position of Training Lieutenant. For the past 4 years I have been the President of the Fairfield County Police Training Officers Association. I am looking forward to providing more dedicated, specialized training and speakers over the next year. My goals are to assist and develop the women of CAWP to become leaders, role models, and mentors within their respective agencies and in life. I also want to promote and encourage balance between work and home. In order to begin working towards these goals I will need your help to identify those areas that you see as stumbling blocks for female officers. It is incredibly important that those around us see that women can be leaders, and as leaders, we possess a unique set of experiences and perspectives. Feel free to contact me with any suggested training you would like to see CAWP host or present

Secretary, Lisa HamiltonSecretary, Lisa Hamilton (Sergeant)

Eastern Connecticut State University Police Department

Lisa is currently a Sergeant with the Eastern Connecticut State University Police Department and retired from the Glastonbury Police Department as an Agent after 21 years. She is also the training coordinator at ECSU PD and a board member of the Connecticut Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation. She has been a member of CAWP for over 15 years and a past nominee for CAWP Female Officer of the Year. We may all walk a different path in our policing duties, but at some point our paths all cross through the CAWP. None of us can do this job alone: the key is to have a strong support system of family and friends. We need to empower ourselves with positive organizations like CAWP. “Your ability to change will determine your success in the world.” (Anon)

Treasurer , Angela Annunziata (Special Agent)

US Secret Service, New Haven, CT

Special Agent Angela Annunziata, currently with the US Secret Service in New Haven, CT, and formerly with the IRS-Cid. One of our big goals this year is to improve our scholarship funding, work on improving our recruitment of women and minorities into Connecticut’s police forces, and encourage our members to take more educational and training classes to create better women leaders. Your strength or weakness as a leader impacts your career-thus, so does your power of persuasion and your ability to voice your values. There are just not enough women officers in executive positions whose voices should be heard.

Sergeant-at-Arms , Corinne Sandberg (Sergeant)

CT State Police

Currently in the rank of Sergeant for almost six years and with the CT State Police for 21 years. I am currently the Commanding Officer of the Communications Center at our Headquarters. The center is a fully functional dispatch center that handles many things including Amber/Silver Alerts, Freedom Of Information Act requests, the Text a Tip (Tipsoft) hotline, I believe we need to make sure we perform our duties on a daily basis with INTEGRITY, STRENGTH, INDEPENDENCE, and with RESOLVE. Those around us need to see the vision that drives our ambition. As women leaders, we bring diversity and balance to our places of work. To reach the top, women need to learn self assuredness, faith in one’s abilities, and a firm reliance on their inner strengths. Leaders must make difficult choices, and we need to focus our energies on creating better leaders and role models for both men and women. I look forward to working with all members on improving communications between our organization and outside agencies across the state. "

Chaplain, Christina Barrow

Tina is currently with the Avon PD for 19 yrs and previously served on the CAWP board for one term as the CAWP Secretary, but has been involved with CAWP for 15 years. Tina has a special calling that will be a great asset to us spiritually and professionally. I am very active in my church, Life, Church in Granby and have two daughters, ages 15 and 12. I hope you will make a commitment back to this organization-help move CAWP forward to new heights. The benefits will be enormous, for each of you personally and professionally. You came into your organization with a pre-conceived notion of where you were going. Somewhere along the way, you may have gotten off track, been de-railed, or took a detour. Let CAWP help you get back on track.

Retiring at the rank of Lieutenant after almost twenty years with the Middletown Police Department, Bonye works as a solo attorney with a general practice of law. She remains committed to the CAWP and hopes to inspire other retirees to devote their talents and expertise to motivating current members of the Association. She believes that the younger members of the Association can tap into the deep well of experience of the retired members to find support and encouragement for whatever they may be going through in their careers. Bonye will also be working to bring many more retired members back to the Association to reconnect with one another. She encourages any retired member who visits the website to contact her directly.
