Department of Motor Vehicles

The Department of Motor Vehicles is currently seeking qualified applicants with current POST certification to fill anticipated full-time Motor Vehicle Inspector positions in the Commercial Vehicle Safety Division. Candidates will be accountable for performing a full range of inspection and enforcement activities pertaining to motor vehicles. The current schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week and may include weekends and evenings.

Putnam Police Department

State Capitol Police Department

State Capitol Police Officers patrol a seventeen acre campus in Downtown Hartford that includes the State Capitol and Legislative Office Buildings , garages and supporting State offices. University of New Haven Police Department

The University of New Haven Police Department is seeking certified Police Officer candidates. Applicants must be CT POST certified or be eligible for lateral certification from another state. All applicants must be able to pass all POST standards and requirements. The University of New Haven is a sworn police department with 16 positions. The primary patrol duties are on the main campus, and other properties under the control of the University. UNH Officers do have City-wide jurisdiction when engaged in University business.
